How a Digital Transformation at Singapore Pools Helps Singapore Pools Fight Illegal Gambling

Swimming at SGP pools is an enjoyable way to stay active and relax, offering exercise with plenty of fresh air and family or friend time together. But before entering any pool it’s important to remember certain guidelines – here’s why

Swimming is an incredibly healthy activity that can reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity and diabetes. For an enjoyable aquatic experience that’s both safe and convenient, join a public swim club. Not only will they offer various swimming activities but many also provide fitness classes or lessons to help develop into better swimmers.

Singapore Pools, Singapore’s only legal lottery and sports betting operator, handles approximately $12.2 billion worth of bets annually in an increasingly crowded market. Their goal is to provide safe gaming environments while counteracting illegal gambling syndicates; to accomplish this they have implemented a digital transformation strategy under Yeo Teck Guan’s leadership as their Chief Information Officer.

Yeo and his team took immediate steps to transform Singapore Pools’ customer touchpoints, which had previously largely consisted of counter service based in-person interactions when they joined. They then launched digital channels and mobile betting platforms so customers can onboard, manage accounts, and bet online – driving digital adoption among their customers and making Singapore Pools more effective against illegal gambling activities.

Yeo and his team had to overcome numerous hurdles to implement changes necessary to combat COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, while maintaining high levels of security and performance during transition. To accomplish this, they migrated to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), powered by Oracle’s cloud observability and management platform. OCI allows Singapore Pools to monitor, analyse, manage multiple applications more efficiently by providing more visibility through automation through one dashboard while helping resolve issues more rapidly than previously.

Yeo and his team are currently working to strengthen the organisation’s data analytics capabilities using AI and machine learning, in order to gain deeper insights into how the business is operating and make informed decisions regarding future initiatives. It will also increase data quality available for management decisions while improving customer experiences overall.

Attentively responding to pool leaks promptly is key to maintaining a safe and healthy swimming environment for years. Consulting a qualified professional will allow them to assess your situation and recommend the most appropriate solutions; in the interim, temporarily fixing leaks with plumbing sealant might work; especially important when leaks occur near exposed skimmer and pool lights that require professional solutions as they could prove costly and dangerous.

Hong Kong Pools – Cool Off in One of the Best Hong Kong Hotels

Hong Kong’s hot sun and oppressive humidity can leave us sweating under its scorching rays, but rather than turning on the AC full blast, why not visit one of HK’s beautiful hotel pools instead? While public and government-run pools provide similar comforts and facilities as hotel pools do; hotel pools often offer superior amenities and spectacular views that offer relief.

One of the most breathtaking Hongkong pools can be found at Ritz Carlton Hong Kong. Their indoor pool sits 118th floor of International Commerce Center and provides swimmers with an experience akin to swimming through clouds. Furthermore, this pool features floor to ceiling windows, mirrored walls and LED walls which create the illusion of coral reefs for added realism. Furthermore, this experience also offers spa and wellness treatments, making the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong pool truly memorable experience!

K11 Artus Hong Kong features another stunning Hongkong pool for travellers to admire. Renowned for its design-driven and luxurious amenities, including its 25 meter lap swimming area clad with luxurious turquoise Balinese stone, this pool is an excellent way to unwind with friends or family and take in the scenery.

Pao Yue Kong Swimming Pool complex in Wong Chuk Hang offers something for all kinds of swimmers at its large complex. Swim laps in the main pool, practice your dives in the diving pool or let your kids splash around in two kid-friendly pools – they make for an ideal family outing! Accessible via Bride’s Pool Nature Trail, it is a popular local destination.

Hongkong hotels often boast luxurious pools, but few can rival those boasting stunning panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and city skyline like Hotel Indigo’s rooftop pool. While usually exclusive to guests of the hotel, outsiders may also enjoy it during special summer events that take place there on weekends.

W Hotel’s Wet Pool stands as one of the highest rooftop pools worldwide. Situated on its 76th-floor rooftop terrace, this stunning swimming hole not only awes with its height, but it also provides numerous relaxation activities like Jacuzzi tubs and deckchairs – plus you can even book staycation packages here through Klook!
