The Hong Kong Prize
Hong Kong is renowned for its cultural and intellectual achievements, producing some of the world’s leading innovators. The HK Prize honors their efforts while encouraging them to continue pushing boundaries and innovating towards creating a brighter future.
Nominators wishing to nominate candidates for the HK Prize must meet the official submission deadline with all necessary materials – an application form, biography, list of accomplishments and relevant work samples – complete. Once this information is submitted, a selection committee performs an initial screening procedure in order to assess if each nominee meets essential criteria of winning this prestigious prize.
Judges consider both a nominee’s work and their impact on society and industry when awarding this prize, with greater positive impacts receiving additional points – this ensures that only those whose contributions have lasting ramifications receive this prestigious honor.
Once evaluation is completed, the selection committee announces its final list of winners at an elegant ceremony. Winners receive both a trophy and monetary prize; these recipients also gain public recognition for their efforts. Judging is performed under strict scrutiny to ensure its fairness; several checks and tests are performed on ballots, balls, and draw machines in order to maintain integrity for each competition.
